Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Greek Private Chefs and Daglig Deilig Gresk (DDG). These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for using our website and services. By accessing this website and/or booking any of our services, you accept these terms in full.

1. General Information
Greek Private Chefs and Daglig Deilig Gresk are operated by Panagiotis Lenakis. The website offers private chef services, catering, weekly meal prep, and recipe-based content. All services and content are provided in accordance with Norwegian consumer protection laws.

2. Services and Bookings

  • Bookings for private dinners and catering must be made at least 2 weeks in advance. Weekly meal prep bookings must be made at least 3 days in advance.

  • Minimum order requirements and lead times are stated clearly on the booking pages.

  • A 30% deposit may be required to secure your booking, which is non-refundable if cancellation occurs less than 7 days before the event.

  • Final payment must be completed no later than the day before the service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations made 7+ days before the service date are eligible for a full refund of the deposit.

  • Cancellations made within 3–7 days of the service date will result in a 50% refund of the deposit.

  • Cancellations within 72 hours of the event will not be refunded.

  • In case of force majeure (illness, severe weather, etc.), we will offer to reschedule your booking or refund the deposit in full.

4. Allergies and Dietary Requirements
It is the client’s responsibility to inform us of any allergies, intolerances, or dietary restrictions at least 5 days before the event. While we take all reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

5. Content Use (Recipes, Guides & Media)
All content on the site, including recipes, articles, photographs, and guides, is the intellectual property of Panagiotis Lenakis unless otherwise credited.

  • You may use our recipes and guides for personal, non-commercial use.

  • Republishing or redistributing any content for commercial purposes without written permission is strictly prohibited.

  • You may link to our website and share content on social media with proper credit.

6. Delivery and Equipment

  • For catering orders, delivery within the Greater Stavanger region (including Stavanger, Sandnes, Sola, Randaberg) is included by default unless otherwise stated.

  • Deliveries outside the Greater Stavanger region (e.g., to Bryne, Ålgård, Klepp, or other areas in Rogaland) may incur an additional fee and must be agreed upon in advance during the booking process.

  • For catering, delivery fees may apply based on location.

  • We provide all cooking and serving equipment unless otherwise arranged. Clients must ensure access to a working kitchen, clean surfaces, and running water.

  • After private events, we clean all used equipment and workspaces, leaving the kitchen in its original condition.

7. Service Area

  • Our services (private dinners, catering, and weekly meal prep) are primarily available in the Greater Stavanger region.

  • Requests outside this area (including other parts of Rogaland or cities like Oslo) may be accepted upon discussion and mutual agreement, depending on availability and travel logistics.

  • We reserve the right to decline any bookings that fall outside our primary service zones unless arrangements have been made in advance.

8. Liability
We are not liable for damages or injuries occurring during or after the provision of services, except in cases of gross negligence or misconduct.
We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel a booking due to unsafe conditions, abusive behavior, or violation of terms.

9. Changes to Terms
We may revise these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services or website after such changes implies your acceptance.
